Why Jus Gentium
Literally translated it means the Law of People. They are norms that are unwritten yet are commonly observed by all human beings. Jus Gentium is the law of reason, the universal law and the progenitor of human rights.
What we do:
Jus Gentium is an independent international affairs and conflict resolution firm. Drawing on field experience and modern research, the firm produces policy analysis, leads public civic dialogues, and delivers intensive leadership programs centered on cross-cultural understanding. The firm also works directly with leadership teams, providing expert briefings and direct counsel on international affairs.
World Affairs at the Library
World Affairs at the Library (WAL) is a public initiative organized by Jus Gentium and hosted at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in downtown Washington, DC. Bringing foreign affairs discussions out of closed policy institutions and into the civic square, the program invites the public to analyze international and regional conflicts directly. Sessions examine root causes and evaluate potential paths toward de-escalation.
